hi lads am looking for a good clone image for dreambox 800hd pvr which can show ecm as well

moley is the image that gets 1channel and ice films working instead of "greening" out?

 

Works like a charm, also TSMedia with navi-x and plenty more. never had a problem whatsoever with the release 3.2.1 15-05-2012 image I'm using.

Mooley, many thanks for this. Have put this in the brothers box and it works a charm. Have scratched my head for a year as image after image has failed to play tsmedia. This one does the business. But I'm still scratching my head with this image. Yes TV is grand, tsmedia is grand but for the love of me I cannot get crossepg to work. Within menu setup merlin EPG settings I have a directory of /media/HDD and a file name of EPG.DAT (forget about uppercase or lowercase, its my feck in tablet deciding what should be uppercase or lowercase, I know Linux works in lowercase). So the brother does a crossepg download and I expect to find after the download that the EPG.DAT file would be in the /media/HDD directory. It is not to be found. Have you any ideas

 

Hi fintannl I do remember I had initial problems with crossepg but for the life of me I'm trying to remember how I sorted it. Have you tried using different versions in TSPanel? I am using Crossepg 0.6.2 (svn 306) and have only OpenTV 28.2 selected.

 

Hi lads , like fintannl I too have had issues , with boot load 84 especially, had given up on tsmedia, 1channel and icefilms etc and for the last while I have been using : sim201-SS82-de-133dv3PHOENIX2-dm800-13052011 . It is a reliable image but not great with addons . Fintannl is this the one you used :Merlin-3-dm800-2012-02-16-ramiMAHER-e3 #ssl84b. If so and you get around the crosspeg prob could you let me know ? As soon as I get a chance I will try it anyway , and cheers Mooley for the info !!

 

Ok this is wrecking my head. Merlin 3 is an OE 2.0 based image. Now DMM came out with Enigma 2 OE 2.0 based images in 2012 as a follow on to Enigma 2 OE 1.6 images. When DMM came out with the OE2.0 images they screwed up Crossepg. So they had to go back and release binaries (released December 2012 and into 2013). Then it was up to the pachers to come along and do their business. To date their is not a released Merlin3 patched image with Crossepg working available. So its time to look at PLI based system instead which while they call themselves OE2.0 they are in fact an opensourced OE2.0 Enigma2 rather than the closed source DMM OE2.0 Enigma2. Mooley you must be the lucky one

 

I may have loaded the Crossepg seperately after the others wouldn't work! I honestly can't remember mate it was around last christmas I did it. I do remember messing with it quite a bit and eventually got it going so just left it ever since and it updates in middle of the night and never gives me trouble. Sorry to here it's not happening for you all though.

P.S. I would say try all the different versions as mine is 100% working.

 

i probably would get this working if i played with it a bit on a local box. however i'm trying to guide someone remotely and its absolutely cracked me up. so I loaded

instead and used the integrated tspanel to load tsmedia and as far as i know this seems ok

OK, that image was rubbish. Downloaded standard pli image (patched) 2.1 and have just settled on basic operation for the moment. Tsmedia driving me nuts. Love my genuine duo where there is never a prob
