Hi Guys, Got this as a present for someone for xmas. Trying to update the firmware (at work obviously!) before I hand it over.. Problem is...i don't know what firmware to take! The share has the following... My 4shared/Dreambox My 4shared/Dbox Dreambox UK Fix 291108 My 4shared/Dbox2 None of them seem to be what i want. I'm in Ireland... Any ideas?
The s in the name stands for satellite. What do you expect from a satellite box? All the cracks are for cable or mmds.
ahhhh okay... I've setup 2 starviews before, both with a cable input....first time doin a Dreambox-S. Ran the install, it's found loads of channels but no pic or sound on most of them. The basic free-view channels are working, but not the others.... I should be able to get the sky movie channels e.t.c ??
Who should descramble the paytv channels if the encryption system from sky via satellite is not hacked? Cardsharing would be a option but I doubt you are able to find a cardsharing group which let you participate.
