Hi. I have just got a DM800 and carried out a scan. 300+ channels are available but only the free to air stuff like BBC1 etc are visible on screen. Channels like sport and movies show as a black screen. I assume this is something to do with keys. I have a folder containing keys on my PC but no idea how to transfer them to the DM800. Can anyone help please?
    Thanks

Welcome to life with a DM800. Fantastic box but a steep learning curve. Assume you got the box with a DVB-S tuner so you can use a satellite dish. Be aware that key files will open very few extra channels. You need to learn how to cardshare. Time to start reading. Learn how to flash an image to your box, how to load emulators, how to cardshare and open the true majic of this box. Have a Dm800 myself. Took me nearly a year of research but if you have the interest this box is the real deal.

Thanks fintannl. I have a DVB-C tuner. I am more used to the Eurovox box so this is something very new to me. Any suggestions as to where to look for tutorials etc? Thanks

With a DVB-C you are either on Chorus or NTL cable or you are on NTL MMDS. You will have already opened as many channels with the Eurovox as you can and these days there are very few channels available on any of these systems. So lets start at the start. Is the DM800 a clone or the real thing. You will need to know the bootloader version. The seller should have listed the bootloader level. Based on the bootloader you should start by flashing a Nabilo Blackhole image. This is relatively simple. First you will hopefully have the DM800 connected to your router with ethernet cable. So if you press menu, system, network, adaptor setting you should see the IP address of the dreambox. It will be something like 192.168.x.x. Write down this IP address. Next power off dreambox. Now you need to power it on again while pressing in the silver button on the front of the dreambox. You will see a message'DHCP' and then an IP address is displayed. Now go to your internet browser and type in this IP address. Use the firmware upgrad option and flash the file you have downloaded. Important; it may be necessary to flash the bootloader befor the image. You need to know if your bootloader supports the image you wish to flash
