hi just hopeing some 1 out there can answer these questions i have 3 eurovox 1000 bought, um flashed um, scaned and tuned um no problem .but tried to get 1 for my mate couldnt so gave him 1 of mine ,now im getting this dream box500c and dont no. downloaded something called dreamup v1.3.3.4 do i just connect computer to box and run dreamup,is it that easy read something about Gemini is that seperate or is it in the dreamup programe allready and does the box have 2 b conected to the net it all seemes very complicated please any info would be a great help also im living in limerick on choxus cabel
The 500c needs updating via a 232 null cable mate Straight forward enough Just make sure you flash the correct image ,as some images will kill a clone If your box was bought in the last 6 months it will Deffo be a clone Theres nothing wrong with these ,the Exellant boxes Just google dream images DigitalWOR*** 2.1 nutrino images ,run like a dream on a clone If you pardon the pun ................Paul

Follow instructions and do it in steps Connect the 232 with no power Run dream up You will then be told to power up the box Then point to the image folder on pc And 10 mins later its done Just rescan for your area ..............Paul
Dreamup is the software to flash the image to the box via 232 cable You have a mail addy ..............Paul
i was using a null modem all along and wen i try dreamup it just says now turn on dreambox, so i do and nothing it just says connect box . i no laptop not ideal but bought a usb and to box and it worked on all euro boxes these dreamboxes i think too fidgity is there a diff between the null modems i sent away 4 a male to female cable 9pin on e bay but dont no if that will work anyway ps ..it says ip address is that my address or boxes address man im over my head id rader not connect it to the net at all
