dreambox hd

i want to buy a hd box is the dreambox good enough and at what price asap ,if possible

 

I have no complaints with my dm 800 hd clone but would like a dual tuner stb . Are you looking to get a clone or original ? .Maybe look into getting a vuo or blade or ....etc , lots of info here just have to look through the posts !

 

what exactly do you want? just to watch tv? the f3 is a good budget box, the dreambox like
atghawkin said is a good box ( mine is a clone also) but only 1 tuner, the blade a really good box nice pic but still only one tuner and only one image. the list goes on till you hit the best of the best which i have heard is the vuo plus, Read up first and then ask again.

I hear with the Vu you can add the RTE/TV3/ Ichannal movie apps etc which turns the box into more than just a sat box, great for adding the players to the box and watching films and TV series etc

May start looking at these myself, but as the guys mention, for TV get a cheap HD box

 

Estar800se is work perfect and can flash with OE2.0 images.

Hi People,

Little bit off subject but I didn't want to start a new thread regarding the dreambox.

At home i use the Kryptview A780, i always have used those type of receivers, starview, eurovox etc. A friend of mine handed me their Dreambox 500, he was given it for payment for a job he done a while back but he hasn't got around to using it.

I was wondering if this box is a dud now or can it still be used? On the box it says dreambox and on another part it says the black box 500, no letters after it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You need to see if its a Dreambox C which is cable or a S which is sat, cable is no use to you unless you know of someone doing a private share on cable which is like hens teeth and the box is next to useless, if its a Dreambox for sat, then it can be used on sat and by adding a cline to it (share) you can get a lot of chans

I have had another look over the box and the box itself and I can't seem to find out what one it is. It just says actually on the receiver the black box 500. Is thre any way of looking at the style of the box you can tell the difference?

Cheers tong but it isn't that one. It doesn't have the large button like that on the front. All it has on the front is a standby button and what looks to be a slot for a card.

Not 100% sure how to upload pics on here otherwise I would you guys.

i want a box thats hd and i want it to show sly and maybe foreign football matches like maybe digital alb ,i want 2 subs if you know what i mean..is that possible on the same box and is the hd dreambox clone a good box for that thanks for all the advice any suggestions or a helping hand would be great
