dreambox

my dreambox has completly gone off , the box itself powers on but nothin appears on the screen the scart is fine dont no wat it could be ,
i tried to input a new key yesterday by following nstructions from this site but i must have gone wrong as the full thing doesnt work know.
i dont no anything about this, it looks like a dreambox dm500 but not sure as no label on it .
it was working fine till the codes got changed a few day ago.
can anyone help plz

 

same thing happened with my 500c. the light comes on but when i push a button on the remote it doesnt respond and all i can see is a black screen. im very confused also!

 

i may be able to help tell me what part of the country you are in and who is your provider

 

i live in dublin (south) and my provider is NTL. The strange thing is that i have 2 boxes and 1 worked fine but the other didnt!

 

i live in glasgow scotland and i am with ntl;
