Hi i am new to this bought the box thinking i could just plug it in to ntl. and it would work . i did the scan nothing so then got the latest codes put them in scanded again still nothing it just told me thease codes were allready in can eny one help.thanks.I live in Cleveland.
Hi I may be able to help you out on this one, first can you tell me which image you have installed in the dm500c? If it came with original software you will need to flash it with a modified one to be able to clear channels,you will then have to load an emu and keys via the blue button and switched them on. The DM 500c is very different from a Starview and has quite a complicated learning curve and you will need to be able to FTP the box(connect to internet and PC) to get the best out of it. If the above sound a little heavy going to you take a look (google) for Dreambox forums and read a lot of F.A.Q's and Guides/How To's. jbvid
Hi 'Image' is the firmware that is inside the dm500c or s (Cable or Satellite) (ie operating software). You can load different versions (images) into the dreambox to suit your preference. Like I say take a look and a good read on dreambox forums, there are plenty of them and you will need a lot of time. jbvid
