i just bought a db500s ready to use from box i have internet connected and 4 mts cardsharing pluged it in and nothing do i have to search for satalite and channells and if yes how any help please pm me if you like help
if your sharing sky channels you will need your dish pointed at eurobird 28.5 east(thats skys satellite. if your 4 months cardsharing is for the foreign packages you would need your dish pointed at hotbird 13 degrees east or astra 19 east(you would find a lot of the packages on those satellites)i assume you got cccam etc and set it up on your dreambox, i dont want to go to much into this topic as i think its against forum rules but i will give you a link here click on it, it has instructions on what you need and what you have to do to get cs working on your dreambox. http://www.dream-multimedia-tv.co.uk/faq.htm see if it throws a little light on your problem.
