Drive not detected in DOS?

ok so i use iprep to make my USB bootbale everythings fine it detecs my VIA 6421a chipset and fills in the IE ID numbers and such.

i turn on my 360 and PC on at the same time. as soon as i get into DOS i put the SATA cable into the 360 drive. i then type "iDump xxxxxxx xxxxx"

It then listes 2 drives but both are IDE? not VIA 6421a? what gives? can some one help im about to go mad!!

 

Which sata port on the card are you using ?

on mine it has to be the one opposite the back plate.

 

what kind of drive do you have??
unplug all other drives on your pc hd and all cd drives...

other than that when you create your bootstick in iprep check all the boxes the bad flash and the other one....

 

has to be the port facing the front of your case

Worked nicley adn was the 3rd one i chose!! now ive flashed ixtreme12rev c Quite version well chuffed!

you have a differnt PCI card any way lool.
