Drive NOT detected !!

    I'm running three drive 1 Lite-On and 2 PX-716A . one of the PX-716A is not being detected ,its NOT in device manager its NOT in my bios ,it doesn't show up in any of my software burning programs. i checked the connection it seems ok the drive does have power though and i can open and close the draw.

    try switching around the 2 PX-716A's to see if problem follows or not. are they on same cable?

    i switched the plugs on both PX-716As and neither showed up so i switched it back and stll only getting one PX-716A to show up in my computer

    are both on same data cable? are you talking about power plug or what?

    the ata 133 cable i changed and got neither so i put it back and still just getting 1 drive. i checked the small plugs everthing is plugged in and checked my bios again NO drive very weird

    what are the 2 PX-716A's jumpered as? on which cable connector as in middle or end is the good drive on?

    i have the PX-716As on the top and the bottom as masters and the Lite-On in the middle as a slave. the 716-A on the bottom is the one not showing up. it does have power to it though i can open and close the tray

    ddp i found the problem it was the connection from the drive to the mobo i just rechecked it for the 10 time lol and it was just a little bit lose not much just enongh to cause the problem. i had my tower in my car driving for a few hours thats probably what caused it doesn't take much huh lol. thanks for the help though.
