Drive spinning disks very fast on some backups

    I have SMDs with Slide Tool, V7/8 PS2... On some games I've backed up, the games run smoothly. However, on some recent backups, the drive spins the disks very rapidly (wurring noises) and will not load up the games. They are mainly CD games which do this, like Barbarian, whereas other CD games run fine. I use the same media for all the games, so I am unsure what the problem is? Can anyone help?

    some dvd rips that over 74mins dont boot normaly... and just spin there at the speed of 2500rpm... if only they would spin at 7200rpm that would be the fastets loading console EVER.......
