First off I would like to apologize to the moderators and members of this board because I accidently posted this message under the DVD Shrink forum and I really should have put it here.

I was just wondering if anyone else has ever had this problem. A friend of mine loaned me a DVD - Villa Rides, Legend Films (Paramount) - which I tried to copy but when I put it in my PC's DVD burner the drive will not read it, it won't even acknowledge it's existence. Even when I right click on the drive and click open it tells me to insert a disc in the drive, even though it is already in there. Now, I have had this happen once before some time ago with an Asian disc but this one is a Region 1 Canada & U.S. disc. I am pretty sure the problem is not my PC because I own several hundred DVDs and I don't have this problem whith any of the others. I see that there is a similar posting futher down but the person who replied stated that Windows recognized his disc but in this case Windows shows only an empty drive. Any info on this problem would be appreciated, thank you.
