Driver problems with Vista

    I am want to have vista as a main OS but am concerned about driver issues. What knowen issues have been identified?

    good luck i have tried windows vista the problem is drivers and none are avalable the first problem i had was graphic drivers printer drivers could not find any lots of programs would not run anti virius would not work

    Yeah Vista beta 2 kinda suks worse than the first. M$ said they fixed a lot but I was a beta tester for the first release and I see no major difference between the two. The major hurdle with Vista is that all drivers need to be digitally signed. Most drivers do not containa digital signature. You can however force Vista to boot without digitally signed drivers but it makes the OS unstable. One major f-up is the wireless adapter drivers. Vista beta does not support any wireless features at the moment, and no manufacturers as of yet have any drivers available for people using betas. Take a beta testers advice....SAY NO TO VISTA FOR NOW!
