i changed a case on my ds with no trouble at all i bought another ds and a ds lite cases were rubbish so i bought two new cases for them the trouble is after changing the cases on the ds and ds lite they turn on but then blank out straight away in other words they turn on then turn off straight away can anyone help me on this pls or have i just broken two ds's
Screen connections DS lite- the screen ribbon cables are shaped, they must be fully home (i.e. the shaped part must be touching the connector) DS Phat - the connector has a dark part that you put into the connector (it is stiffer so it can be pushed in) on the circuit board there is a white line above the connector, this is a guide to how far the connector must be in. The dark part must be level with the white line If both screens are not connected properly then the unit will not turn on, it will put the green light on for 1-2 seconds flash the screen/s and turn off. If the ribbon is kinked during case changing the ribbon could be damaged.
