Hi all , i was just over at the nintendo japan site and I spotted This Thats right. A camera for the DS. I don't know whether this is old or not, But i was wondering if anyone has more information because I don't read japanese at all, and google translate sucks.
Nintendo announced at E3 last month that they were releasing a whole line of Wii-DS software and new Wii controllers that will be coming out sometime between the 2007 Holiday season and 2008 Summer. Some of these will be Wii "gun" controlers, Steering Wheels, and a "snow/skate board" that can also read your weight as it will be part of an exercise bundle the will offer. There where talks of using the DS as a controler and being able to have some type of camera that you can us to help make Mii and possible a gamer profile such as xbox life does. I think that the camera will be a reaction cam for some online games, but Nintendo has alot of worries that the camera will lead to unappriate use by both gamers and people wanting pictures of gamers for personal use. This info was from both the E3 review online and me as I was allowed to be a guest at it because 2 of my friends work for nintendo and microsoft, they are very low on the totem pole, so they don't get any real secrets other then stuff that will be publicly released.
