I'm sure quite a few people will find this to be an extremely stupid question, but knowing it better than thinking.

Could something like an Standard sized SD card reader be used to read some information off of a legit DS game card? Not interested in creating back-ups of any sort, but would it be possible to access the flash memory for the game saves?

No, considering that the DS cartridge is a proprietary physical AND electrical interface.

    Have you looked at it??

Now, that having been said, there are Flashcarts with fixed memory that have USB interfaces, so of course it is possible, but not with anything "standard".

Besides, what more is there to get off the card that there already hasn't been made a way for.

You can dump the code and dump the save file. What else is there?

It's less about capability, and more about ease.

But you've answered my question. Thank you.
