so after searching the forums, is it true that the only way to do a single card multiplayer game (DS Download Play), with a rom is if the ds that is attempting to download has a flashme firmware? Here's the situation, I just ordered a G6 lite and a passcard 3 for my ds lite. So if I want to be able to play a single card multiplayer game with her I would have to use flashme on her DS lite firmware? Would it work if I merely flashed my DS lite so a passcard wasn't needed, then have her use my passcard, so I don't have to use flashme on her's? If that doesn't work, are there any other ways around it, or other methods to use, other than flashing the firmware. Also, what are the disadvantages to flashing firmware, other than the possibility of bricking the DS?
To recive a single cart game from a ROM, the reciving DS must have FlashMe installed, there is no other way around that, using the passcard instead of FlashMe won't work. What you can do though is FlashMe your DS, and then give the Passcard and G6 over to the other unit and have to game sent to your DS (useful if you have a friend who refuse to flash their DS) Disadvantages to FlashMe: -It voids your warrenty (though most shops wouldn't know if you have FlashMe installed if you were to return it) -Thats all I can think of :\
