My dad bought a 8gb DS Fire Card in China last year. all games work well on it, however, i cannot save game progress/data. it seems to erase all progress everytime i quit the game, even though it claims to be saving data before closing games.

i formatted the card, but still could not save. then i updated the firmware and xmenu file, but still had the same problem.

    can anyone help?

    thanks in advance

    Nick

it sound like you need to change the save file type. turn on your ds, highlight whatever game you intend playing hold select and press the right directional pad. in the top screen you will see the save types changing. this should work

I have tried to save in different formats, but this doesn't work. Any other ideas?.....could the card be defective?
