    Lets see:
    DS Linux (as you mentioned)
Moonshell (Audio Player, Video Player, Picture Viewer, Text Reader)
DSorganise (PDA like app, also has option to download homebrew using a wifi connection directly to your media card)
    Beup (MSN Messenger)
Homebrew games (DoomDS, No Place to Hide, Nethack...etc)

Thats all i can think of at the moment.

EDIT: Guess I should also mention that all this requires some form of running homebrew on a DS, the best/very popular being a M3 and Passcard3 combo

The M3 is a media card adpater, it allows you to connect media cards (such as SD, miniSD, CF) to the DS GBA port, you can then store homebrew programs/ROMs on the media card and load them.

The passcard3 is needed to let you use the homebrew in "DS Mode" this is becuase the M3 is plugged into the GBA port it should only work in GBA mode.

To run moonshell you need to be able to use homebrew on your DS, so you will need something like the M3 + Passcard3 combo.

Check my guide for how to use the M3, and where you can buy it:
