i have a ds lite which has worked fine for about a 1yr now, after i replaced both screens(and put tape on the back of the bottom one), and replace the shell around it and soldered a new power switch(all of this is a result in two children fighting over one console). Anyways now when you first power it on after its been off a little while it will be fine for about 2-3 min, and then lines and blur is all over both screens and it keeps it that way no matter how many times you turn it off and back on. If it helps on info I am running CycloDS on this system and have been for quite a while without any problems. thanks for any input

Tbh, it sounds like your DS has had a tough life and given up on life altogether now. lol I highly doubt that a flash card would cause that problem, unless you're only having problems with the flash card. Unless you're one of these people who have bought a DS, but never actually supported developers and not bought a retail game, I'd suggest trying a retail game and if the problem persists, a new console maybe called for.
