Hi guys, I have my sons ds lite with a "r4 revolution for the DS/DS LITE" I have the 1.18 update on a 2g kingstion micro sd card. My sons been playing with it for about a year now. The problem is that while playing the game would freeze up and he would have to power off and restart, but when he would restart the ds lite would not see the r4 in the slot, I would take it out blow in the ds lite and sometimes would work. But lately the blowing trick would stop working. I also reformatted the sd and re installed the update. Has anyone seen this before? Is it cause he plays it for long time(like 2 hours)? or is it the slot? thanks
The Slot use the paper shim trick - put a piece of thin card or folded paper behind the R4 to push it closer to the DS connectors - this will solve the issue of freezing as well
