I got 90% through the process, then the f$#*ing directions did not mention how to reassemble everything, so I tried to wing it. I have an assembled DS that when I turn it on it just flashes the bottom screen then turns off. I would be willing to ship it out and pay for someone to repair it, or if anyone has any idea what I could do to fix it I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks!

If you turn it on and the screen just flash for a second.

This is simple, one of your screens is not very well connected, most likely the top screen since it is not flashing or doing anything that means the power is not reaching it, check your screen flatwire plug... hope you didn't rip any, that would be the worst case scenario.

check this plug this might be your problem:

plug to be checked<--- just in case check both top and bottom flatwire plugs. (Be gentle but push firmly)

btw I know it might be that one of the screens is not connected as it should because it happened to me once top screen flashed and bottom screen didn't even flashed, so my problem was in the touch screen plug. Hope it works for you... Good luck pal!!
