i have a ds, but i want to get a dslite. just wondering if there have been issues with these two pieces of hardware. a friend of mine told me that it wont work, but he just "heard" that info... i wanted to know for sure from you guys. also, if it does work... do i need to upgrade any firmware in the ds lite for it to work properly? thanks. btw, im also using the datel maxmedia launcher.
would u say for the price of it, its better to go for a supercard in terms of DS games and stuff... like instead of an M3..
Supercard works fine for DS games, but it has slowdown with GBA games. So if you only plan on using it for DS games, it won't matter which one you get. Just don't get it if you plan on using it for anything else.
just get the M3, stop being a cheap bastard*, call it a day. (*no offense to you, its a section on X-play.. cheap games for cheap bastards)
I bought the cheapest one available and the only trade-off is that it lacks a RTC. Considering I already a EFA, that doesn't bug me in the least. So basically, even though I'm being a "cheap bastard," I still paid less for an EZIV Lite and a 1GB miniSD card than someone else would for an M3 alone.
look..... what difference would it make!!! gba games don't do that much... the checklist is: RTC smooth gameplay where does the EFA prevail where the M3 lacks?
I think what Venom is saying is that he didn't need to buy an expensive M3 as he already had the hardware (the EFA) that allowed the playing of GBA games perfectly. Why waste your money on something you don't need? Thats why the M3 team has produced it's M3 Pro range, which is exactly the same as the other M3's, but without the GBA support.
