Hey guys, I'm having an issue with my DS I disassembled and was hoping someone might have some insight... I have a DS Lite and the touch part of the lower screen quit working. I ordered a new touch panel and installed it as per some disassembly/reassembly instructions. Now when you flick the power switch, after about a 1 second delay, the light blinks red ONE TIME very quickly, and that's it. Nothing ever happens on either screen or anything. I opened it back up and checked all connectors (from lower screen, from touch panel, and from upper screen) to the main board. I verified I put it together correctly by taking it apart and following the instructions again. Any ideas on what would cause this? Would it be the fuses? I looked at some other people's issue with the fuse and it seems they all get a green light for at least a few seconds on their fuse issues. Edit: Also, with the power plug in, the red light doesn't even flash quickly. The orange light stays on when a battery is in, but the red light never flashes when you flick the power switch.
loose connection with top/bottom/touch screen or flat battery or even both. recheck connection are slotted in as far as they go and recharge battery
