My daughters DS lite won't power up. When she tries to turn it on, the power light doesn't com on, no screen activity at all. When we plug it into the charger, the orange charge light comes on for a few seconds and then goes off.
Any help would be appreciated as she's driving me mad!!

    Hi
I havent tried it myself, but the general consensus on this seems to be that it a fuse labelled f2 on the motherboard, it can be checked by removing the base plate, beware that this is not a standard fuse that you will see or find easily, its only about 3mm long and would be difficult to replace if your not experienced in this, explanations and pictures are available on the net to walk you through to test.
    Try this linkhttp://www.m3wiki.com/index.php/Nintendo_DS_Lite_:_Repair_a_broken_console_(blown_fuse)

Good luck and i would be interested to hear how you get on

    Thanks

    Paul

F2 is located next to the slot 1 card slot, it is a type0603 surface mount fuse, if you use google several people have posted pictures of where it is, you will need a basic multimeter to test it. If it has gone then you will need to be pretty good at soldering to go any further.
