I was thinking about modding my DS's with this software. I have a DSi and a DS Lite. Do I have to buy 2 bundles or will the one work for both? I'm unfamiliar with the mod. Is it a software MOD that I can load on both DS's? Also, does the kit come with some sort of mini-SD reader to download games to, or do I need to buy that separately?

    Thanks Guys!

    Its very simple:

    1) Buy flashcart.

    2) Put flashcart firmware and roms on the microSD card. (firmware is specific to whatever flashcart you get, and most flashcarts come with a USB microSD reader)

    3) Put microSD into flashcart and flashcart into DS.

    4) Play games.

    That's it. You're done.

Just make sure you get a good quality flashcart (avoid anything with the R4 name on it) and if you want one to work with the DSi then you need one with an 'i' in it's name, like the acekard2i or the M3izero.

One more question.... With a DSi, can you store ROM's on the SD card instead of a micro SD?

No, you need to use a micro sd and then put that into the M3I zero. After doing things right, it will work on both your dsi and ds lite.

Now after you get your M3I zero, come back on this forum or go somewhere even better for ds stuff (gbatemp.net). The M3I zero is a little different from other flashcarts. To update it, you need to do a little more than just put the files into the micro sd card. I'll or someone else explain that to you after you get your M3I zero.
If you go to gbatemp.net, the people there can help you solve whatever questions you want. It's a GREAT place for all ds related stuff.

M3i zero can be used on both DS&DSL&DSi. It's great.
