Ok I know that its only just come out but dose anyone think that there will be any hacking the Opera Browser in the future so for example if you could host from you computer like a ROM then go to the IP address on the Nintendo DS/Lite and execute the ROMs from it and do firmware mods from it? I don't own the Brower yet so I don't know how secure it is.

I very much doubt that the Browser will allow for anything like that to be done, homebrew is a very small possibility, but stil unlikly. Commercial ROMs won't happen.

I wouldn't say it's that slow, but it's noticeably slower than say my Laptops when they access internet wirelessly, maybe a second or two longer to fully load a page.

Compared to my PSP web browser though the difference is next to none.

Oh well I'll play about with it when I get a copy, are you using the USB adapter because I used to use the USB drive and notice MK online was slow but I got a Nfiniti AirStation and its so much better, and faster now.

I've never used my USB thing, i kinda bought it for the hell of it, and stuck it in a drawer. I used to use a BT Voyager router, due to moving house (and leaving the old router behind) I now use a Linksys which I have firmware-modified.

    Same model as mine :p

What i've done is download a custom (they say hacked, though it isn't really) firmware and install it on the router as an official upgrade, it basically operates in the same way, but it allows for extra options, such as increasing the power output of the aerials, which was the main reason for me doing it.

I live in a very long house, and where our NTL connection is means one end of the house gets a 'Very Good' connection whereas the other end get 'Very Low' i upped the power by only 10% an the good end now gets an 'Excellet Signal' whereas the poor end have a 'Good' signal.

I've also added an SD card slot so i can do other things with it.

I can't remember where I got this particualr firmware, but a quick search on google for Linksys hacking should bring up a few things.

i think that hex said that the "hacked" firmware can increase the range or whatever by like 300%

But doing it by that degree can damage the hardware, I only needed to up the power enough to create a stable network around the house, I have gone to 70% extra power but the unit started getting very warm and losing too many packets for my liking.

its sometimes very slow and downloading things is imposs, but its ok on the move also typing aint to bad but its still not great, worth buying if you have a use for it.
