Hi 2 questions On an original ds mine goes straight to the sysoptions screen and i cant use the touch screen, i tried fitting a new touch screen but the problem is still the same On a ds lite does anyone know what the black and white cables are for that go to the top half of the unit from the bottom? Black = wireless antenna White = microphone Are you absolutely sure that you replaced the touch screen cable correctly? It's easy to seat part way, thinking it's in. One way to tell is try to gently pull the touch screen cable you while the cable clamp in "on". If it comes out, you didn't have it seated properly. On a DS phat there is a line silk screened onto the logic board that should line up with the reinforcement on the ribbon cable. If it doesn't line up, it's not pushed in all the way.
