I have just bought a Nintendo usb wifi connector for my sons Laptop so he can go on line with his new DS game, Pokemon Silver and trade.
The wifi connector device will not work with Win 7 or my Mac. I telephone Nintendo and they confirmed this.

Other than changing my security setting on the router, is there a way around this. I did briefly change the setting to WEP but then my computer would not log on. My provider will no longer provide support for this security setting?. I have to call someone else and they charge.

I Tried changing the configuration on the driver to Vista from XP but the computer will not recognise the wifi connector being connected.

    Any advise please.

if you change info security on router, you need to delete security settings on devices that were connected to router and reset up with new settings, or get an independent wifi router you can set up yourself.
