Hello, I want to dual boot the ubuntu os, I know the steps and all that, just wondering though, I have a laptop with a 80gb hd, there is already a 20gb partition (backup), should I install it here or should Install it on an external hard drive?
If your system allows you to boot from the external drive, install it there. That way you can take it with you when you go somewhere.
