I have 4 DDR2 memory slots available on my motherboard. It looks like two sets of two. Each set consists of one blue slot and one black slot. My question is, I have two sticks of memory(RAM), they are 512MB each, what two slots do I put them in to make them run in dual channel mode. I plan on adding another 2 sticks of 512 later, but right now I can only afford the two I have. Any help will be appreciated.

what ever color comes closest to your processor is the color you start with or in some cases it will say on your mother board it will say the numbered slots start with 0 or 1 and work up keeping the colors matching.
