Hey all...I have a LG LG 16x GSA-4167B DVD+/-RW Dual Layer DVD ReWritable Drive (BLACK) http://www.outletpc.com/c1128.html (FYI) ANyways I have burned DL disks before wheather movies or backing up. Recently I did a format nothing out of the ordinary..now I cannot burn a DL disk..Nero tells me not enough room...and so does CLone DVD..please help! Try freeing up some more memory, you are not giving it a whole lot to work with. Close down as many background programs as you can. Your DMA is off on this drive you need to get it turned on. http://home.comcast.net/~bbmayo/checking DMA.pdf You also need to edit out your serial no. the beginning 1Axxx You don't want someone to steal it.
Yes, your firmware is the most current. If you are burning to a DL blank, try Imgburn...it handles DL discs better than Nero. Rip to HDD first using DVD Decrypter in ISO read mode and then select the MDS file to burn from. The MDS file contains the layer break information.
