Just purchased a new Sony dual layer DVD recorder. I've been using DVD Shrink with good success till now with 4.7 gig discs. I backed-up a large file movie to a dual layer disc (without ANY compression, of course) and it tells me that the file will not fit on the disc. It writes it anyway but, the result is very questionable in terms of quality. Some scenes seem to be deleted & etc. It played poorly on a laptop I took up north last weekend. What decripter best works with the new large capacity dual layer discs? Any special guide I need to read? Thanks Cass_71
For dual layered movies you can still use shrink if you edit the preferences for DVD9 target size. Or you can use DVD Decrypter and use ISO Read Mode and then ISO Write Mode.
