dual monitors

    Hi

    I Just got a second screen how do i configure for dual monitors??

    the screens are hp vp17 and a hp 1502. my main (hp vp17) is connected to my video card (ati x550) and my other screen is connected to the motherboards vga port (hp 1502).


    my pc specs are celeron 2.80ghz 512 ram 80gb hdd ati radeon x550 256mb

    Though it may be possible to use both card/motherboard video... most motherboards are configured to use either one or the other. You'd first have to enable the onboard video in the BIOS, and then install the drivers for it.

    You're actually better off just plugging the second monitor to the video card's second port. You'll then enable dual monitor modes thru the driver's control panel.

    I can only use one video card at a time sadly... i have drivers installed for them both..... my ati x550 256mb is rare it don't got another port for a screen...
