it has a CO instead of the correct C0 (zero). there is never a capital O in the keys AFAIK

some will cop this, but some will cut and past and ftp and it will not work

with all respect to you we have had these codes up nearly a year now and nobody has not to my knowledge got mixed up yet as if you look on your codes and try to enter the letter o as you say you will not be able the numbers only go from 1 to 0 and letters from A TO F
so i dont really see the problem with this

also if you look at the letter o you will see it is round compared to the number which is more oblong compared to the letter

    letter o

    number 0

can you spot the difference :)

(LOL) How someone can get confused with this I don't know,as you say Ferg there's no letter o on the code entry screen so any sane person would know that it was a zero and not an o.

Did you even read my post?

The thread title might say "starview" but others check there to use the codes.

Why? again did you actually read my post. What do you think I am trying to do here? point out mistakes for no reason. What have I done that is so wrong.

Right in case you missed something, I think the first 2 posters did.

They are not "my codes" those were the codes posted earlier in the thread. I was pointing out it should be a zero and not an capital o.

Maybe you missed what I said about FTP. People might copy and paste those exact codes into a keylist.txt file IN WINDOWS, in a txt file you can enter a capital o and stick it on a dreambox or dbox. That is the potential problem

Again cut and paste, there is a o and O allowed in a txt file. Somebody new to codes could think theirs are correct and spend ages checking other settings, needlessly

I can and I did. But there are hundreds who didn't and repeatedly posted the incorrect codes.

Go back and check the thread guys, the codes are now CORRECT, somebody else knew what I was going on about and thought it worthwhile to change them, maybe you just didn't understand about what I was talking about.

Yeah, go to the "dbox in Ireland" thread and see how many I have helped in the past, ignorant fool, you don't have a clue...

ehh Fergus obviously read my post wrongly, read my first and then his.

check the dbox in ireland thread
    http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/144/408883

These are typical things going on.

    and then...

Now see that? not only can you enter a capital o and any number you want using windows OR using the REMOTE on a dbox2 or dreambox in tuxbox commander, but you can put in too many or too little digits.

You guys do not see the problem since you are simply ignorant about dreamboxes and dboxes. Not your fault if you have none. But no need for all the aggression when I am try to help out people.

I got hold of a replay lite last night and it was easy to enter the codes, I only had the option of using those characters used in keys. On a dreambox and dbox you can enter anything you want on the screen. I had a mates box not work since they put in lower case letters.

On previous occasions I have seen people enter a B as a 8, this is easy to confuse looking at a tv screen. And dbox and dreambox users who have only started entering codes in the last week could well think an 8 is a legitimate number.
