Hey lads just joined up to pick your minds.
I live in Dublin and have the basic N*l cable (the 16 normal channels you get here on cable(rte/bbc/sky1/c4/e4 ect). But Im looking for a good 'dodgy' box to use with it. Im pretty sure most will work as I have a live N*L feed and my mate used to live literally next door to me had a starview 2 'the box' and used to go over his place and Id check it out, he has left and doesnt know anyone who can get me one, so im looking for a site that has good offical boxs for me to get, im also confussed as to the amount of models and makes, And am just hoping yous can tell me which is the best box for me to get, and from where.

Its just for the digital channels like sky/setanta and the rest, I dont really want to have all the gimmicks like recording, pausing and so on.

just basic box that works, and i can upgrade myself, Im pretty PC smart so as long as theres guides and places to get new firmware/codes im laughing.

    Thanks...

Will any of those DVB-C box do?

Because theres the eurovox one thats like £99 and then the Box for £120.
Is there a make thats known to work well with N*l here, or easiest to upgrade?

I happen to know alot of people around here use the Starview box2. So I presume Box 3 or Box 4 would be safest bet.
Is there any difference, worth the extra £15

    thanks..
