Well Im into downloading torrents and stuff and when I download them it direct them to my C drive cause I dont have a lot of space on my E drive, but when Its done downloading my E drive is almost wiped out, and I notice that there are a lot of hidded files from the thing I directed to my C drive. How do I either direct everything to the C drive / or make the C drive the default drive / and how to I not let big files download in the E drive. I really need help and I would really appreciate some cause my comp is on the verg of failure!

Jesus man take a chill pill..lol. Its easy. You didnt specify which p2p proggy ya using, but you just go into settings and specify where you want the files to be download. I.e...c dirve.

Yes, I did that, ok im download a game from torrentvalley.com and a choose for it to be downloaded in the C drive, when it download I keep checking the E drive and I see the memory just start going down drastically, I didnt know what the problem was so I went on FlashFXP and i saw that there were 46 hidden files on the E drive all connected to that game. So your wrong ozzy, you cant just specify where it needs to be downloaded, or then why is there multiple hidden files that are traced to the program I selected to be downloaded on the C drive?

Ah.....nah your wrong and im right...he he. I just figured it out. Those hidden files are the incomplete download. Change the incomplete folders location to the c drive and you should be fine.

I dont know bout the proggy you are using since you didnt specify which one, but limewire you can set where you want the imcomplete files to be stored till the dl is complete. So check that in the settings too...:>

Just checked and I was wrong bout one thing. There is not a option to specify the incomplete folder location. Sorry man. BUT.....depending where you set the save folder ie c or d drive.....it will automatically set the incomplete folder next to it. Forgot bout that. But as long as you dont have a save directory on that drive, then the incomplete folder should be in the c drive. Just look on your drive for a folder saying incomplete in the case of lime and delete it. Then set your save directory to the c drive and lime will make a new incomplete on c drive. :>
