I authored and burned a DVD with home video, since I would like to clear up some hard-drive space I would like to delete all the video. If I do this, but keep the project that I saved, I would be able to burn that same project again in the future, right? I´d say yes, but would like to be sure before erasing all that work. thankee-sai

Nope. The project file simply is a pointer to the actual video you have saved elsewhere. Delete the video, and the project file won't work any more.
