I bought a pre-chipped PS2 (v7 i think) with a Duo 2se chip from Ebay (yes, a risk i know). It plays original and backed up games fine, but has trouble with DVD movies. I've only tried playing orginal DVD movies so far and every disc (except Layer Cake) loads fine but all the text is green (meant to be white). The movie plays with a greenish tint to it aswell. The PS2 is a UK PAL system and all the DVDs i've tried are UK PAL Region 2 discs. If anyone can offer any advice, i'd appreciate it. Thanks.
Try booting by holding the reset button in for 5 seconds or untill blue clouds come up on the screen (this turns off the chip)
