    Hi all....
really nice to know that there's this GC forum

I just bought a DuoQ modchip and will get it installed in the next few days.
I already have some images (ISO) files for the backup, and I plan to burn them using nero.
When I read through a thread, I found out that the "Finalize CD" option must be used. Is there anything else on the settings I need to know, in order to get properly working backup?
Will it be easier/better to use other programs instead of nero?
Thanks in advance for any help and wish you a nice weekend.

I have installed a DuoQ chip, it works perfectly. Direct boot.

    I use Traxdata mini DVD-R RitekG04.

I burn them all with 4x with verify option enabled, all work fine.

I used ImgBurn, its free so try it out.

Thanks for the reply, I really appreciate it.
It seems that Nero isn't the first choice for burning GC game :)

Nope, there are others like alcohol 120%, but i'll stick with ImgBurn its free, simple and supports .GCM [Gamecube Iso format].

Or if you want to burn the GCM file with other burn programs, just rename .gcm to .iso. Like game.gcm => game.iso

Remember that not only media, burner or program is enough for a good burn. But also your computer itself. I always restart my computer after a burn, because i noticed some slowdowns after one burn.

Don't have alot of tasks running in the background while burning.

    Hope this helps :)
