I just installed my duox 2gs chip and according to a guide I got from mod-chip.com, the led on the chip will flash either green or red indicating a successful install. My chips flashes red, but it just boots into the default microsoft bios. I've tried both memory banks on the chip and neither boot up. I've also tried loading a disc with a new bios to try and flash but it doesn't recognize it. Has anyone had this problem or can offer a solution? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
did you ever get the blue flash bios v3.03 screen?? Did you use a Solderless adapter or did you solder?
I soldered it on. I'm on a 1.6 box and used the adapter to solder the underside. I never saw any bios screen other than the standard microsoft one
something is wrong with the connection.check all your solder points.....and make sure the chip is installed correctly...
