Hello, I am new to the mod seen, just finished mod with duox2. I have the x2-4983 bios and was wondering why there are two different versions (4983.06,4983.67), I have a version 1.4 xbox.
IM pretty sure those numbers are the xboxs Motherboard BIOS version...but I could be wrong....why are you having problems?
or they might also be the original xbox dashboard version either one...if your chip works fine I wouldnt really worry about it
Thanks for reply, intense searching and I found the answers. 4983.06=for use with hdd upto 120gb? 4983.67= use with hdd larger than like 120gb. Ialready flashed and everything okay. MAKE SURE ANYONE WHO READS THIS DO NOT UNLOCK HARDDRIVE, WONT BOOT TO NORMAL MS DASH.ERROR 05.fOUND OUT HARD WAY HE HE!!! uSED CONFIGMAGIC TO FIX. The only problem now is, I cant load avalaunch from any boot cd or dvd I make.
