DV 16:9 to 4:3 letterbox

    Help! I have some DV recorded in 16:9 and some in 4:3. I'm trying to edit them into a coherent whole.

    I've seen posts that transforming 16:9 to 4:3 letterbox can be done in Virtual Dub's resize filter, but I can't for the life of me figure out how.

    Anyone have a link or a tip?

    help? please? Still not having any luck finding documentation on how to do this ...

    if I'm missing something obvious I'd sure appreciate a link before my forehead gets any more bruised ...
