DV to mpeg using TMPGEnc

    Hi,
    I am converting the avi file I get from the camera to using TMPGEnc to mpeg, but I get audio and no video.. does anyone have the solution to this..
    thx

    If I remember correctly, TMPGEnc only supports DV Type 1, not type 2 (or vice versa :). Try this: load the DV AVI into VirtualDub, select Direct Stream Copy from Video menu and start frameserver and use the frameserving AVI as a video source for TMPGEnc.

    And DON'T ask how the frameserving works, it has been covered zillion times in our guides (like DivX -> VCD guide) and in our forums (use search).
