Hi, If I upload in ProExtensions my video file (m2v + mpa), Play, press Stop, image freezes, sound goes and mouse remains busy. I posted the file log in the DVD Lab forum, and they told me something is wrong with my DirectX installation because under "Inserted Filters" there should be an entry for a sound output device and this should be either DirectSound Renderer or Waveout Renderer. My PC is regularly updated by WindowsUpdate, however, to be sure, I have reinstalled the DirectX 9c, but nothing changed. I have no toher problems with any other application. I work on WXP PRO SP2 Maybe somebody can help me here?? Here's the log: DVD Lab PRO Extensions Version 1.0 - 1.1.0.395 venerdì 3 giugno, 2005 00.29.47: Reading index file for "M:\My Videos\Video 8\MPEG2_DVD_PAL(Mastering).m2v" 00.29.48: The number of Index entries for "M:\My Videos\Video 8\MPEG2_DVD_PAL(Mastering).m2v" is:151208 00.29.48: Reading index file for "M:\My Videos\Video 8\MPEG2_DVD_PAL(Mastering).mpa" 00.29.49: Inserted filters: Default DirectSound Device MPEG Audio Decoder MPEG-I Stream Splitter 00.29.54: Chapter Point added at Frame 0 (0:00:00:00) 00.29.54: Video = MPEG2_DVD_PAL(Mastering).m2v Resolution = 720x576 Aspect Ratio = 4:3 - Normal TV (DVD Video compliant) Frame Rate = 25 Bit Rate = 8000 Kb/Sec Running Time = 1:28:55:05 Frame Count = 133381 (0 ... 133380) VBV Buffer Size = 224 KB Profile/Level = Main / Main Interlaced or Progressive = Interlaced Colour Format (Chroma) = 4:2:0 Low Delay = No GOP Length & Structure = 17: IBBPBBPBBPBBPBPBB (8913 GOPs) Frame Type = I DC Precision = 9 Frame Structure = Frame Top Field First = No = Audio = MPEG2_DVD_PAL(Mastering).mpa Encoding = MPEG1 Layer 2 Bit Rate = 192 Kbits/Sec. Transcode the mpa to ac3 (or mp2) in ffmpeggui, and try again. DVDLab doesn't like .mpa file extentions, and no, you cannot just rename it.
Ooops...forgot to say that originally the audio was in mp2 and ProExtensions cannot upload it, so I was suggested to rename to mpa, indeed it uploads, ut I have this problem...
