hi, i'm having a problem with my dvd-9 to dvd-5 disc playing in a 'shinsonic 3838' standalone dvd player which plays vcd, svcd, and dvd-r. i made a dvd9 to 5 and it played alright but some of the menus were messed up because i compressed them to single pics... but anyway. i made a backup of scarface with dvd decrypter to rip the movie, dvdshrink to compress the movie and just the movie, no extras, menus, or subs. then burned with pinnacle instantcopy and it will not play in my standalone but will play on my pc with windows media player. is my standalone dvd player old or will it just not play? does anyone have any pointers on what i did wrong? i'm not a complete newb but i could use some help. thanks.
