Ok, the fact that you're coving all your bases...placing the same thread in different forums..leads me to believe...you really Want Help! :)

    First we need more info.

Did These DVD's you've burned...did they come from .avi/.mpg material downloaded from net?

    2. What kind of "out-of" sync problem is it?
Completely out of sync for beginning to end? or starts out Ok...but gradually becomes out of sync? or perfectly fine then suddenly from a certain point become out of sync?

Different things can cause sync problems...not just the Nero Software and codecs.

Thanks for the reply! yes i did download the movies from the net.

It looks fine at the begining credit, then as soon as the actual movie starts i noticed the video play is a bit slow, and the audio is always faster than the movie. i think the audio is around 10-30sec faster so i cant really ignore it...

go to "software" here at Afterdawn, download and install the program

    VirtualDub

Import/Open the download .avi file and see if it gives you any "Audio Error" messages...warning you that there "these errors might cause audio sync problems.."

Then you can go from there, ask for help "dubbing" these downloaded .avi's before encoding with Nero.
