I use IDVD and lately when I play them in a DVD player the video is jumpy and no audio. This only happens on some DVD players.
This never happened before. My player works fine, but other players don't. It is hit or miss.
    I use Verbatim DVD-R

Some DVD players don't like to play burned discs but so far the only player that I have not had luck with is a 7 year pld rca player. I personally use dvd shrink then nero but can you give me some info about which players play it and which dont Also will a player play it then later not play it.

How fast is your burning speed? Some older dvd players can't playback anything higher than 4X of burning. Perhaps your dvd player like the -R and not your other players -- try the +R next time and see what's the result.

I don't know what DVD players the other people are using. Do you think I can just burn the DVDs at a lower speed and this may work?
