Hi I'm attempting a dvd authoring for the first time. I have 6 episodes of a 25min sitcom and want to burn the to 2xdvds (3 episodes each) with a menu for selecting episodes but can't manage to do it. I have Nero Express 2 and Nero 6 Ultra Edition but have given up trying to figure out how to do it as I don't have the plugins. I am now trying to use Ulead DVD MovieFactory. It recognises the VOB files but seems to automatically break each episode into 3 chapters - which is annoying as when played back there is a seconds silence and a jump between these segments. Can anyone explain how to put the 3 episodes onto a dvd separately (I don't care about having chapters) and link them to a menu? Thanks for any and all advice. Cheers
DVD Lab is your answer. It has a 30 day trial available for download from here: http://www.mediachance.com/download.htm From what you say it sounds like you have each episode in a VOB file? DVD Lab will take VOBs as input and create a menu... add chapter points... etc. Note it doesn't write the DVD, it just creates the VOB files ready for writing. Which you can do with Nero.
