Since yesterday, every time I get to a certain point using TMPGEnc DVD Author, Mainconcept, or Nero Recode 2 the programs mysteriously disappear. They all open fine but when I try to open a video file to import the program just vanishes. No error messages, nothing. I just recently removed EZ CD Creator 6 and installed Nero 6. I'm assuming there is a conflict in something? Thanks for any help you can provide. So far my AutoShrinkISO and DVD Shrink isn't affected.
Try IfoEdit to author your DVD and see if that helps... if nothing else works and you are using Windows XP then try doing a "System Restore" to go back to whatever date when your system was working properly.
It's probably not a virus but it's worth checking if you haven't done a virus scan already. I was having a similar prob, but the programs were not opening at all, damn jeevo virus, easily removed, but does trash your exe once it's been eradicated.
